Intermediate Training

With the pretest this weekend and the test in May, focus for brown belts should be towards the new requirements of Pinan Shodan – Godan and Naifanchi. Basic self-defense and the new bunkai one-steps, however, they can still use the old brown belt self-defense instead at this coming belt test. Many of the current brown belts should be promoted to Shodan Ho in May (black belt with a red stripe running through it) and then in May these students will get back on track of studying the Seibukan kata with Wonsu. Black belt class will focus on Seibukan and advance kata for the senior black belts.
